I think my refund was an error.

I don’t feel comfortable posting my tax return out in the open.. I just wondered if turbo tax has previously made errors on the amount of a refund? I usually never get a refund or very small and this year after plugging in my usual numbers I’m getting 28000 for a refund! I can’t ever control the refund because it’s automatic with turbo tax .. I’m nervous because I don’t want this to be a red flag and be audited for something I didn’t do..
@Abpower13 Do NOT post your tax return or any other personal information in this forum. This is a public web site that can be seen by anyone using the internet.
But a $28,000 refund? Sounds like you need to check very carefully for extra zeros or misplaced decimals in the amounts you entered, especially if a big refund like that is highly unusual for you. Even with the new refundable credits and stimulus money that sounds pretty suspect.
Go back over the amounts you entered from your W-2's etc. and look at them very closely. Do not file until you find the mistake(s).
