I have this message when checking the IRS website gor my taxes:
We apologize, but your return processing has been delayed beyond the normal timeframe.
You can continue to check back here for the most up to date information regarding your refund.
We understand your tax refund is very important and we are working to process your return as quickly as possible.
Why does it say this now, I did everything turbotax instructed me to.

The IRS has been severely backlogged for a long time. Many people are getting this message. TurboTax does not get any information after you file your tax return so no one at TT knows a specific reason why you are getting that message. If the IRS wants any other information from you they will let you know by letter. Meanwhile all you can do is wait patiently and watch the IRS site. The IRS is your only source of information.
Same here. I’m guessing it’s because of the PATH Act. Fingers crossed it is.
