It shouldnt bbe taking this to send my tsxes by mail.

or you can try to switch to efile.  Ready to Mail means you have to actually print out your tax return and mail it to the IRS yourself. So it has not been filed yet. You can try to switch to efile https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3985787

If you are seeing a message that your return is "Ready to Mail", you must print and mail the return yourself.  TurboTax does not mail returns for users.  See the instructions below to go ahead and print your return for mailing to the IRS.
