Filed electronically and received emails telling me both state and federal were accepted. I need clarification as to what I must do now.

Once you've verified letter is authentic, comply with requested information as instructed. Requesting ID and W-2 is not unusual; perhaps they didn't get their copy of W-2, or someone else made a similar filing. Nothing to do with Turbotax operations.

Do not respond to an e-mail without verifying sender. Was it from IRS or State? What was sender address? Was there a phone number provided?

Awesome, I needed clarification. Thanks a bunch. I'll give them a call tomorrow for further details. It doesn't seem so scary now. First time filling taxes. Since tomorrow was the deadline I was a bit worried. You take care now! ??

Oh, I received a letter from my state. Yes, there's a phone number and all. So do I have to send a copy of any state ID? I didn't do that with turbotax. I think they just want to verify it's me? I would've used my passport, but turbotax didn't say that was an option from what I recall.
