Stimulus Payment Direct Deposit Headache

I have been unemployed over the last tax season and was exempt from having to file this year but as recommended by the IRS, TurboTax, and others, I used the quick tax form which was linked from the IRS official website in order to update my direct deposit information to receive my stimulus payment ASAP. I did receive an email hours after I used the IRS link to Turbo Tax Stimulus Payment Short form confirming that my stimulus payment application had been accepted and submitted to IRS and I thought I was ahead of the game at that point. 

Since then (April 6th), I have not been able to confirm that the IRS or TurboTax has my correct direct deposit info and I am unable to use the “get payment” tool the IRS just opened and I  keep getting an “unable to obtain status” message when I have tried to verify or potentially edit the bank info I originally submitted to TurboTax for stimulus payment 

When I contact Turbotax, they refer me to IRS page, no one from IRS will take calls about this matter, and I have no way of receiving any update or projected date of deposit due to the IRS tool leaving me with no answers and a 24 hour freeze on my account each day that I have tried to check for status updates. And now when looking at the submitted direct deposit info on the stimulus form it just says 

routing number :xxxxxxx

account number :xxxxxxxx

which looks like my bank details have been rejected or deleted. 

is anyone else experiencing a similar scenario like mind  and is there Anybody I can speak to about this before it’s too late and I end up having to wait for a check to be mailed to me weeks or months from now? 

Any guidance or tips regarding my issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 🙏

Ok ... your stimulus return was filed on 4/6 ... now they need to process it before you will be in line for a stimulus check ... how long this will take is unknown as there is no precedent for such things ... patience will be needed since you have done all you can do for now.

I also used the Turbotax stimulus version to file a simple return to get my stimulus money, but when I E-filed and printed out the return it has xxxxxxxxxxxx where my routing and account number should be. The checking account box wasn't checked either. I know for a fact that I input my direct deposit info, that was the point of filing this way... I really hope that my DD info was included when it was transmitted to the IRS.
