Stimulus check question

Not sure if anyone can answer this but will the post office forward your stimulus check if you have a forwarding address on file with them?

If they won't then what does the IRS do when the check is returned to them?  Reissue if the PO provides the forwarding address or direct deposit since I had provided that info which they asked for and then ignored?

They should forward it, but you may want to check with your local Post Office just to be sure.
