State tax payment due?

Hey there! So, I did my federal and state taxes all in one, and both taxes were approved by the IRS. I set the payment date for the $172 due for Kentucky state taxes on 01/26/24 and so far I haven't seen the funds taken from my bank account. It says I owe money, but I'm not quite sure where I have to go to pay it or if it's an automatic thing.

If anyone else can help, I would be forever grateful! Thanks!

A state return cannot even be accepted until the IRS accepts your federal return. The IRS began to accept federal returns on Monday, January 29. So....you got a little ahead of yourself with that date. Just wait and keep an eye on your account for when the state accepts and processes your payment.

Always check for updates when you open your TurboTax program and run all of them. This issue should be resolved soon.
