Michigan, why is my state return under review again? I called and they said it might take until September, 2025 to get. I filed April 17th. Why is this happening? It happened last year, but didn't take this long. Now it is happening again. I always use TURBO TAX. Can someone give me an answer?

TurboTax gets no information from the IRS or from your state after you file your tax return, so no one at TurboTax ever knows that your return has gone under review or why. Only the state can tell you why they are reviewing your return.
