State change my 16 and 17 tax year itemized deduction to standard

Hello there, I was under state tax audit for 2016 and 2017, later they changed my original itemized deduction to standard deduction for both years and now I am amending federal return for those years to make standard deduction, now my questions are: 2017 and 2018 federal returns included previous state tax refund as income now can I remove those state refunds from my gross income for 17 and 18 and what supporting documents I need to mail as my deduction and EITC will Only be changed along with tax increase

Why did the state change your itemized deductions to the standard deduction? Did they find errors in your itemized deductions? If they didn't find errors, why do you think you need to amend your federal return from itemized to standard deductions?

Yes they find out error , I was unknown about taxation, tax preparer did itemized to make maximize my refund to get more customer, so he put lots of make up expenses without asking me. So after lots of study I file this year with turbo tax myself and trying to amend too
Thanks

In order to amend a tax return that was not originally prepared using TurboTax, you must start from the beginning and recreate your original return as it was filed before you can prepare the amended return. Depending on how complex your tax return is, this may not be easy to do.

If you want to try to do it, you must buy and download the TurboTax program for each tax year you want to amend and install each program on your computer. Here is the link to buy them: https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

After you complete the original returns, you should choose file by mail. You will not actually refile the original returns but this will allow you to then begin an amended return form 1040X. Here are instructions for amending a return: https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1894381-how-to-amend-change-or-correct-a-return-you-already-filed

Amended returns must be printed, signed and mailed. They can't be efiled.

You may want to take your returns to another paid preparer to have them amended. We would normally suggest taking them back to the original preparer but since that preparer apparently encouraged you to file a fraudulent return, I would not trust them to amend it.

That "tax preparer" has committed fraud.  Please report him/her.

You don’t answer my questions at all, even I use your product I need to find out weather to include previous year state refund or not and supporting documents so I ll be very happy to get answer before proceeding ahead. I heard you turbo tax help people to file their tax themself so i am expecting answer than pushing products.

If you don't itemize deductions on your tax return in the previous year and deduct state income taxes, then you don't enter the state tax refund as income on the next year's tax return.  For example, it you itemized deductions on your federal return in 2016 and entered state income taxes as a deduction, then you must include the state refund you receive in 2017 as income on your 2017 federal tax return.
