On 1040-SR line 6a, I entered $56,000. Line 6b shows $0. I am well into the 85% of taxable income requirement. Why does line 6b show $0 and how do I change it to 85% *$56,000?

So, how much other income...and what types of income have you entered?
(and "Approx" how much has already been entered...just flat $1,000 approx amounts)
As you enter your other income, It should re-calculate...unless all your other income came from ROTH accounts.
It depends. If you allow TurboTax to continue the calculations as indicated and you don't see a difference once you have made all the other income entries. You can use the steps below for additional assistance.
If you would like to send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information it would help. If you would like to do this, here are the instructions: (Don't forget to give us the state)
TurboTax Online:
Open your return -Go to the menu panel on the left side of your return and select Tax Tools.
TurboTax Desktop:
If you like, you can send a copy of your return that will be scrubbed to eliminate your personal data by using these steps:
We will then be able to see exactly what you are seeing and we can determine what exactly is going on in your return and provide you with a resolution.
