Sill no Turbo Tax acceptance email after 6 days

I e-filed my federal and state tax returns on 3/23/25.  Six days later I still have not received any notification that either have been accepted.  I've used turbo tax for a over a decade and never had this occur.  Usually an acceptance notice is email is sent in 1 to 2 days.  Anyone else experiencing this?

There has been delayed acceptance from the taxing agencies this year, depending on whether your return contains certain forms.

The best way to check your Federal Efile Status is at the IRS Where's My Refund? link.  Your State may have a similar link.   Here's a link to the state Dept. of Revenues.

Thanks @MarilynG1 .  The IRS2Go app indicates that my 1040 had has been received, but is still processing.  My state refund status now estimates the direct deposit on 4/4.   This would be my fist tax year since 2022 to include 1098-E deductions, which was once again eligable after the COVID-19 pause was restarted.  Could that change have triggered the delay?

Yes, the 1098-E may have been an issue.

Other reasons your refund can be delayed

  • If you mailed your return and expect a refund, it could take four weeks or more to process your return.
  • In addition some tax returns take longer to process than others for many reasons, including when a return:
    • Contains errors or is incomplete
    • Needs further review in general
    • Is affected by identity theft or fraud
    • Was referred to the IRS by the bank due to suspicious activity
    • Includes a claim filed for an Earned Income Tax Credit or an Additional Child Tax Credit. See Q&A below.
    • Includes a Form 8379, Injured Spouse Allocation, which could take up to 14 weeks to process
    • And I'm sure a host of other issues
