Should I file an amendment?

My husband filed married but single status, and I haven't filed yet. We decided to file together, so should I file an amendment or file mine normally as married as together?

No, actually, he should file an amendment to change his status to married filing jointly and then add your income and information to his new married filing jointly amendment. 

Then you will only submit the one amendment.
