Should I be getting back so much for my state refund?

The amount of state refund is nearly as much as I paid in on my quarterly payments.  I don't think I should be getting a refund.  Please help me understand this.  Perhaps I made a mistake.

Check your data entry for any errors, especially commas and decimals.
