I filed my taxes February 1st, but recived a 1098 with home mortgage insurance premiums noted box #5 only  - no taxes  - nothing else - the bottom line was not changed  - do I need to file an amended tax form ?

Personally, I wouldn't. If there was no tax and also didn't change the bottom line, no. If you decide to tho, wait until your initial return is complete and then file an amended return. Amended returns can only be mailed into the
IRS also. It cannot be E-Filed. Hope this helps!!!
