Did it say a Duplicate SSN? Did you claim a dependent that maybe filed their own return? Or their other parent claimed them? Are you married? Did your spouse already file?
Did you by chance use the non filer portal on TurboTax or the IRS web site to register for the stimulus payment? If you did, a tax return was efiled for you with 0 income. You will now have to print and mail your return to get it accepted.
The non filer portal was for use only by persons not filing a tax return.
Yes it did said duplicate social security number.
and I have no dependents and I am single
I did not but my mom probably did I will ask if so the only way to do it is through mailing ?
@Texas Roger if so who do i send my printed tax information to ?
Oh, your mom might have claimed you? You need to find out if she can claim you. How old are you? Are you a full time student?
Here are the rules for claiming a dependent. Do you qualify as a dependent?
How to mail a return from the Online version
How to switch from Efile to mail. This one has a Video
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return. Don’t forget state.
Important! Mail Federal and State in separate envelopes and mail each year in separate envelopes.

If she can claim you then you can still efile your return. You have to check the box that says you are being claimed.
Click on Add a State to let you back into your retun.
Go to My Info click EDIT by your name
Then scroll down to #3 Can someone else claim you?
@VolvoGirl she did not claim me she filed as a non filer in the stimulus because I didn’t do my taxes yet
