Routing # on Massachusetts E Filed StatecReturn

  • I have input my direct deposit data for my 2024 Massachusetts state tax return - when I print out the return to view it before ng filing it is not showingbthe full 9 digit routing number -"is this for security reasons or is it a computer error?

    Are there X's as part of the number? If so, yes, this is likely a security reason.

    No - the routing number should be 011000138 and it is showing as 11000138- it is missing a digit. The rest of the sequence is right and the account number is right. It is a BOA routing number. Last year the entire number printed on my return. I won't efile till I have this straightened out but unfortunately I paid.

    Ok, go back in and change your direct deposit info. When you get to that area, select "Other refund options". There you will have the option to update your bank account information.

    No unfortunately. I do a software upgrade next week - I'm on Windowsc11 - maybe that will help.
