Rejection code IND 901

I tried to e-file with Turbo Tax and received this rejection code, I called the local Social Security office and was told my social security number has never been locked, they will mail a letter to me staying that as well, why did I receive this rejection code then?

I am not sure why the IRS rejected your return.  I will suggest you to paper file your tax return, unfortunately.  

This rejection code is issued when the Primary SSN in the return has been locked because Social Security Administration records indicate the number belongs to a deceased individual.  The SSN is locked so that it cannot be used fraudulently. You have no choice but to print, sign and mail the tax return to the IRS.
