I no longer see the status bar and it just shows "your refund is being processed and a date will be given" anyone know what that means?

Sometimes as your return is being processed the bars disappear. Continue to check the status of your return by using the Where's My Refund Tool located at the IRS website.

I filed my 2022 taxes last year in April, my son passed few months before, so I didn't care to deal, but got them sent in last year in April, got my state but no fed yet
