What does it mean when I filed my taxes and when I go to look it up on the website turbo provides and there is no results of my refund ?

Sometimes people get confused by the “summary” given by TurboTax and use the wrong amount for the federal refund. Make sure you are only using the federal refund amount, and not an amount that combined your federal and state refunds.

After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.

Did you receive an email from TurboTax indicating the federal tax return was Accepted?

Verify that the tax return was Accepted by the IRS by signing onto your TurboTax account. The status of the federal tax return will be displayed - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When using the IRS website for the status of a federal tax refund - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

You must enter Exactly the Social Security number, the Filing Status and the whole dollar amount of the federal tax refund as shown on the federal tax return that was filed and Accepted by the IRS.

To access your current year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
