Since my refund is still in the processing stage because I have to verify my identity, will that stop me from getting the upcoming stimulus we are suppose to be getting ?

No. The IRS will use 2019 tax information if it does not have 2020 tax information. If you qualified for the first and second stimulus payments based on your 2019 taxes, then you will get the third stimulus if the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 becomes law.

I filed the 2020 tax return because I didn’t get the second stimulus but they have all my information from this return

If your 2020 tax return is fully processed by the time they start issuing payments, they will use the information from that return.  If it is not fully processed at the time, they will use information from your previous year's filed tax return.   You will get it if you are qualified to get it, but it is impossible (at this time) to decipher when you will get it.   Until it is signed into law, no checks will be sent.  Here is the information we have at this time.
