My refund is still under review and nothing has changed.... i already got the letter and same thing. Now with this Corona virus going on and places shutting down..... what will happen to our refund??? Does that mean it will be delayed longer??

There has been nothing said about refunds being delayed due to Covid-19.  You can call the IRS to see if they can give you more information.

The IRS telephone number is 1-800-829-1040, and they are available from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday thru Friday. The best time to call is early in the morning.

    - The first question the automated system will ask you is to choose your language.
    - Once you’ve set your language, do NOT choose Option 1 (regarding refund info). Choose option 2 for “Personal Income Tax” instead.
    - Next, press 1 for “form, tax history, or payment”.
    - Next, press 3 “for all other questions.”
-Next, press 2 “for all other questions.”
    - When the system asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, do NOT enter anything.
-After it asks twice, you will be prompted with another menu.
-Finally, press 2 for personal or individual tax questions. The system should then transfer you to an agent.

Did you ever hear anything? I've been under review since feb 24th 2020(notice date), sent documents March 12th 2020 and still nothing. The 24th of april was 60 days since my notice and 45 days from the time I sent the documents in for verification. I CANNOT get in touch with anyone. Not even a tax advocate bc of the mess that is going on. I'm trying to find out if I'll recieve another notice or what's to be expected. Thanks in advance.

Things were affected by the shut down ... hot off my email today :

Dear Income Verification Express Service (IVES) Participants,

We wanted to provide you with an update regarding the current state of our operations. Starting April 27, 2020, we plan to have limited staffing in our service centers to begin processing previously submitted requests. We will not be accepting any new work until we significantly reduce existing inventory. A subsequent update will be provided when new work will be accepted. Due to limited staffing, processing time will be delayed.

Thanks for your patience and please stay safe.

Thankyou for sharing. Hopefully they'll be able to get mine processed soon, seeing documents were sent march 12th before the shutdown. Fingers crossed.
