Refund Status

Hello, 

 I did an e-file for my tax return about 8 weeks ago and it was accepted. I got my state refund and not my Federal. When I check the refund status on IRS they won't give me a date. I've been waiting for so long and I also cannot receive my stimulus check until this is taken care of. I'm getting really worried as it's been a while since I've filed. 

What should I do?

Unfortunately, only the IRS can help you, and they have currently closed their telephone lines.  Many returns take longer to process than others.  Often these returns contain certain credits.  The TurboTax FAQ I'm linking below will hopefully explain more.

I'm in the same boat, having filed my taxes in late January.  Status: Accepted.  But the where's my refund app and website says, "Your tax return is still being processed... A refund date will be provided when available."  We are also getting tax credits... Can't speak w/ anyone at the IRS for updates... very frustrating.

I efiled through TurboTax on 03/14.  I received an email from TurboTax that IRS has Accepted my return, but IRS does not show they have received it.  So I cannot get my stimulus and I am worried that IRS did not receive it.

@Childj22 If you received an email that your return was "Accepted", the IRS must still be processing your return.  You can use the info I'm linking below to check the status of your e-filed return.

when you filed your taxes how long did it take you to get your state tax back and did you get paper check
