Refund status

I mailed my completed return at the end of January. To date the IRS does not show any record of receiving it. I'm concerned my return may have been lost in the mail. Can I re-submit electronically using Turbo Tax?

Currently, there is a backlog of millions of returns that the IRS is working to process. If you were to file electronically, when the IRS processes your mailed return, it may cause a delay and you will be notified of the duplicate submission.

The thing is, IRS does not notify you of a duplicate submission.

Instead, your tax return goes into a black hole.
