MY WMR updated yesterday after 2 weeks stating refund sent on 2/24/2021. i called the bank they verified 2xs no payment was sent nor rejected and my account numbers are correct. when i look on turbotax it states refund estimate is 3/10/2021. has anyone else experienced this? you currently can not get ahold of the irs due to high call volume. im hoping there sometype of delay in wmr and i will have it this week.

Did you have your Turbo Tax fees deducted from the refund? if so this can cause delays from the date the Where's My Refund website states.
Also, did the Where's My Refund website state it was sent to your bank for direct deposit or was it being sent to you by check in the mail?
i had no fees i did speak to the irs. the girl couldn't give me an answer she originally said it was returned by the bank i spoke to them 2xs and the branch manager they never received a dd but i did receive my state already and the account numbers are correct. the lady at irs after putting me on hold for 10 min proceeded to tell me now she didn't know what was going on it was processing on there end but wmr says sent on 2/24 and still says that she said I would be mailed a check but then said didn't know why if account numbers matched up. at this point im thinking they are overwhelmed and for some reason certain ppl got sent like this.
@maximus_88 I would suggest giving it some time and see if you receive it soon; if there was any bank account discrepancy then the IRS will issue you a paper check. Like CarissaM mentioned above, WMR usually shows the method for the refund so if you are not seeing that it could just be delays with updates due to the backlog and ongoing effects of the pandemic.
im seeing the method which is direct deposit, confirmed with the bank they never received nor returned a payment. the account matches up with what was submitted for dd. irs gave me 3 different reasons as to what happened after every hold i was put on.
