My name is Kimberly Maddox, I filed my tax return February 3rd and with it being March 27th I am getting concerned that I still have not gotten my return. When I filed I got the "thanks for using TurboTax, your taxes have are done" ordeal. I chose to get a check and not e-file since I couldn't locate my last years ACI. Is there anyway I can locate the status of my return? I have tried the online portals of "Where's my tax return" and all I got was error messages. I am willing to give the information to search my return with you.

Thank You

This is a public forum, DO NOT give out any of your information.  No one here can look up your information.  Did you mail in your return?  It may have gotten lost, it should take 3 to 4 weeks for a mailed in return to show the on the IRS website, Where's My Refund.

You can try contacting the IRS, not sure with all the is going on you can get someone.

The IRS telephone number is 1-800-829-1040, and they are available from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday thru Friday. The best time to call is early in the morning.

    - The first question the automated system will ask you is to choose your language.
    - Once you’ve set your language, do NOT choose Option 1 (regarding refund info). Choose option 2 for “Personal Income Tax” instead.
    - Next, press 1 for “form, tax history, or payment”.
    - Next, press 3 “for all other questions.”
-Next, press 2 “for all other questions.”
    - When the system asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, do NOT enter anything.
-After it asks twice, you will be prompted with another menu.
-Finally, press 2 for personal or individual tax questions. The system should then transfer you to an agent.

I filed online with the TurboTax CD platform. I thought those messages would go into a private messenger so that is on me.

@kmaddox121693  If you e-filed you can check to make sure your return was accepted.  The check will show if your return was accepted, rejected, or no return filed.

How do I check my e-file status?

For the TurboTax CD/Download you can check your e-file status by opening the File menu and selecting Check E-filing status or by opening your return, selecting the File tab, and selecting the Check E-file Status header.

    Keep in mind:

    • E-filing status is what stage of the process your return is in.
    • Refund status is when you can expect your refund. If that’s what you’re interested in, go to Where's My Refund?
