Refund shortage

My refund was supposed to be $600 net $383 after TurboTax fees but it’s only $370 you rip off enough people in small amounts that they don’t notice, that’s a windfall for you

Have you factored in the TurboTax account fees and the TPG service charge of $39 plus any applicable sales tax?

What is Refund Processing Service?

Your tax refund was not sent to TurboTax.   TurboTax does not handle your refund at all.

Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC  (SBTPG) is the bank that handles the Refund Processing Service when you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund. This option also has an additional charge from the bank that processes the transaction.

You can contact them SBTPG, toll-free, at 1-877-908-7228 or go to their secure website www.sbtpg.com

Yes I factored the fees in, turbo tax gives you the net amount in the summary write up

The difference between the $217 in fees and the $230 you were assessed is 6%.  Does your state have 6% sales tax.
