Refund of processing fee

My state decided to verify that it was me that submitted a tax refund, after doing this I am told that my refund will be sent to me in a check, even after I explained that I paid for DD. If I read the response correctly, my bank will automatically send a refund check pertaining to my payment for DD to me?

You do not get a refund for that situation. Your fee was for using the software to prepare and file a tax return. You did not pay an extra fee to get direct deposit. Your fee remains the same. If you want to have a conversation with customer support and let them explain it:

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”
