I filed my taxes in January. I waited and waited and turbo tax took forver to get my refund. I finally got my refund by the end of February. But the total wasn’t the amount that Turbo Tax accepted. I was supposed to receive $2,511 but only got refunded $1,111. Where is the rest of my money? I called the irs and can never get a hold of them. Every time Iv called they tell me to call back because they are too busy to take my call. I go online and it says the adjusted my amount. Reasons being my social was incorrect or I made more than $75,000 a year or I have invalid dependents. Iv checked over all that information and I do not fall under any of those terms. I didn’t make more than 75k a year and I’m single with no dependents. And my social is correct. I don’t know what to do now to address the incorrect total I received

$1,400 is the amount of the 3rd Stimulus payment. Didn't you already get it?
That is usually the list of generic reasons they give if they changed the Recovery rebate credit on line 30. How much is on 1040 line 30?
Do you have an amount on 1040 line 30 for the Recovery rebate credit? Did you not get the 3rd Stimulus payment? Or qualify for more? Line 30 is only if you didn't get the full amount or qualify for more.
If you claimed a missing stimulus payment on your return but the IRS took it off you have to ask the IRS. They think they already sent it to you. Maybe it went to an account you don't remember. Or you got a check or a card. It was probably easy to miss the debit card in the mail and think it was junk mail. They have to put a trace on it.
Double check your bank statements and Check your IRS account to see when and what they sent you (check both spouse's accounts if married)
