Refund delay from IRS

<span;> My Return was delayed being sent out due to a mystery IRS issue. Turbotax charged my banking account early on (and very much to my surprise, this also was an overdraft to my account), but at least those fees are all paid and done with. After 6+ months of waiting, calling, and emailing the IRS; I was finally informed that they will be sending out my refund! During my last call to the IRS, the Representative advised me that my refund will be sent to TurboTax. I am currently in a severe financial hardship, this process has already proven to be painfully  difficult, and I want to avoid any potential delays in receiving my 2018 Refund. In your FAQs, it states that there is processing time. Is there any way to expedite this considering that all fees are already paid?

Since you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.

For the status of your tax refund you will need to contact the third party processor, Santa Barbara Tax Product Group, using their website - https://www.sbtpg.com/

Since the TurboTax account fees have already been paid from your bank account, the third party processor will NOT deduct those fees again from your federal tax refund.

See this TurboTax support FAQ for payment of the TurboTax account fees - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/charges-and-fees/help/why-was-my-bank-account-auto-debited-for-turbotax-fees/01/26102

There is actually nothing that TurboTax can do to expedite your refund.  Once your return has been accepted, TurboTax receives no information at all from the IRS, and TT cannot intervene with the IRS for you.  You can try calling a tax advocate:
