Refund advance reapply?

I got an email saying I wasn’t eligible for a refund advance because I owe the state 88 dollars. I want to know if I pay the state will I then be eligible for the advance.

No. You do not have time for that. That payment would not post to the state in time to change your eligibility for the advance. Sorry....if you did not qualify for the advance you will just have to wait for your federal refund.

Did you already e-file? You cannot apply for the advance after you e-file.

Then----if you want to try making a payment to your state on their website and cross your fingers that it posts to the system and allows you get the refund loan.....try it. It is very unlikely to succeed. Sorry.
