Received corrected 1099 after I filed.

I received a corrected 1099 after I had already filed.  It happens to be a tax free mutual fund.  I entered the corrected amount in my turbotax file and it did not change the amount of tax owed or refund.  Do I need to file an amended return with the IRS even though the new figure will make no difference in the tax owed?
