If I E-file my returns, will the state require me to mail receipts after the return is accepted by the State?

What kind of receipts?   There are over 40 different state tax agencies, but in general, extraneous material like that is not something normally sent to a state unless they specifically request them if they are reviewing something unusual on your return or if you are chosen for a random audit/review.    But receipts are not something they would ask for routinely.   Keep them in your records.

Hello, I submitted my federal and state tax returns in the past 24 hours and am trying to obtain a receipt for the amount that I owed in fees to TurboTax for filing (around $50 or $60). I opted to have the 2 fees taken out of my refund amount instead of paying extra on my credit card. I have seen in a couple of articles in your Help section that your credit card statement is your receipt. This is not sufficient for my purposes as I did not pay extra for the fees on my credit card and instead, they were simply deducted from the refund amount. I did attempt to take a screenshot of the amount breakdown, but had a computer malfunction at the same time and lost the file after I had already deleted it, not realizing how difficult it would be to get it back. Please inform me of how I can obtain a record of the difference I paid in the fees. I have searched my order history online and in my TurboTax application with no success in finding this information. I need the record to deduct for my tax expenses next year. Thank you.
