Why would the IRS adjust my refund, if turbo tax said it was all correct?

TT does not know if, for example: you made a data entry error, forgot to claim some income, or misclaimed a deduction/credit.  Lots of folks have made mistakes when answering the questions about receiving the stimulus or Child Tax Credit, so the IRS has been adjusting for those.

The IRS will be mailing you a letter in 2-4 weeks.  They do not notify TT.

Turbotax says it's correct based on your entries.   the IRS is saying something you entered is wrong or you didn't enter something. the IRS will send you an explanation.
