When should I receive my amended form refund from California. How long does it usually take. I mailed in my form as told.

Oh Lord.  I think it can be awhile.  I mailed in my son's tax return in February, wasn't amended, and he just got his refund today.  So it took 4 months roughly.  Oh wait.  That was his federal, which is sent to a CA address.

His state refund only took a couple of weeks.  They're usually quick & then if a problem will notify you months later.

I usually receive my state and federal in 3 weeks.  I received my federal in 3 weeks.  Still waiting for my California amended refund. I called and they said call back after 6 months. Real nice!
