What does it mean when tt and status bars disappeared and only message says irs is still processing return and a refund date will be provided when available?

@kitchenskody44-g Sometimes as your return is being processed the bars disappear and a processing message appears. It just means that your return is moving along in the process.

Continue to check the status of your return by using the Where's My Refund Tool located at the IRS website.

IRS is showing "still processing" and it has been that way for 2 weeks. Are they that far behind in processing efiled returns?
