If I set up payments through Turbo Tax do I still need to go online to IRS website and set up payments?

Also can I make additional payments to pay it off sooner?

If you applied for an IRS installment plan with TurboTax, don't set up another one on the IRS website.

Yes, you can make payments to pay your amount due sooner. See IRS Payments.
