There may be some things on your tax return that the IRS is checking out before they finish processing your refund. Or if you have EITC or additional child tax credit on your return, the IRS by law cannot send your refund until after Feb. 15.

Wish I knew. Same situation here. Return was accepted on Jan 30. Still showing as "received". Son filed on Jan 27 and got his refund Feb 5.
