Mailed tax delay

We mailed our taxes on March 20.  How worried should I be that the IRS site still says they have no information for us.

hard to say.  the IRS is way behind in processing returns especially those mailed in.  keep tracking your status on the IRS website. in the future, if you're not going to e-file, use a mailing method where you can track it or get proof of delivery.  in my area, the USPS is having delivery problems.

Thank you.  I've been kicking myself for weeks for not getting something with tracking. Didn't even cross my mind at the time.
