Mailed my 2019 return, still not processed.

I filed an extension in July 2020, and mailed my payment for my 2019 taxes. My account shows a credit for the payment amount.  I mailed my 1040 in October 2020. My IRS account does not show a 2019 filing and says I'm eligible for a non-filing verification, etc. Do I need to wait for the 2019 to be processed before I file my 2020 return. I did not get the second stimulus payment and assume it's because they do not see my 2019 return?  Confused.

No, you do not need to wait for the 2019 to be processed before I file my 2020 return.  You can apply for the Recovery Rebate Payment to claim your stimulus on the 2020 tax return if you did not receive it.

Hi, same issue as this (2019 return mailed but still not processed) except that because the IRS does not have my 2019 AGI on file, my 2020 E-file keeps being rejected.  How can I E-file....can I use the last figure they would have (2018)?

No, don't use 2018.  If they don't have 2019 AGI on file yet then try entering 0 for the AGI to efile 2020.
