IRS showed my refund status then deleted it

Hi all, 

I filed early (January 31st 2020) and had my State Refund approved (February 2nd 2020) and my Federal Refund approved on the same day I filed (January 31st 2020). 

A week ago (February 5th-7th, 2020) I decided to check the IRS website to see where my refund is. At first, it kept saying that the IRS cannot give me any information and to try again later, so 2 days later I tried again and it gave me an update. It said it’s been received. Then this week (today; February 11th 2020) I decided to check again since my state refund gets deposited tomorrow, but it went back to saying that the IRS cannot give any information. I even called the 1-800 number and it said the same thing.

I did not file any differently than last year, besides that I made a little more this time around than last tax season. 
Other than that, nothing is different. 

I however qualified for Child Tax and Earned Income Tax - I know that plays apart in everything but I was wondering why can’t the IRS give me information when just last week they could. What should I do?

You're right. The Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act (PATH Act) prevents the IRS from issuing early refunds on any tax return that claims the Earned Income Tax Credit (EIC) and/or Additional Child Tax Credit.  Returns with the EIC or Additional Child Tax Credit will be issued in late February.
