The IRS wants to correct my 2018 return but doesn't want me to file an amended return.
How do I get this revised info into Turbo Tax?

What are they correcting?
My wife received a 1099-MISC form from her employer for miscellaneous income earned at the end of 2018. We didn't receive the check until early 2019 so I was planning on claiming it in 2019.
The IRS wants to correct our 2018 return to include the income (and additional tax due) but is instructing me not to submit an amended return.
I want to update my TurboTax file to match the corrected 2018 return.
Thanks.
in this scenario there's nothing to do on your 2019 return.
Just staple the IRS letter to your copy of the 2018 tax return.
