If you got a refund in 2018 or 2019 they will use that direct deposit information. If you had a balance due, the IRS is working on creating a portal for you to enter your deposit information. No word on how long before it is available.

I entered wrong amount for my husband 2022 income when I was filing my tax return 2023. I tried to refile it but I couldn't find an option directing me to spouse income .
