Check the IRS Get My Payment portal to see if there is any information about your first stimulus payment. You may have to file a tax return to get your first stimulus payment which is called the Recovery Rebate Credit.

I received the $1200 stimulus payment. I have not received not gotten the $600 stimulus payment. How do I amend my 2020 return to recover this money. I contacted Bank of America and they confirmed that this was not deposited into my account. Thanks.
If you used TurboTax Online, simply log in to your account and select “Amend a return that was filed and accepted.” If you used our CD/download product, sign back into your return and select “Amend a filed return.” You must file a separate Form 1040X for each tax return you are amending.
Remember that you need to make sure that the IRS has accepted the return that you already submitted. If you have already received that confirmation, you can go ahead and do this immediately. It is rather simple, actually. TurboTax will transfer all information from original return and make inquiries as to why you are amending (what's changed) and be sure to follow all of the steps.
