I receive 4464c after I verify my identity

IRS letter 4464C is notification of a review of your income and tax withholding. You don't need to take any action. If you do not hear from the IRS 60 days after the letter date or have not received your refund, the IRS asks that you call at that time.

No. It means the IRS has pulled your return for review but it is not an audit.

Your return was stopped first for ID verification and once you passed that it was put back into processing and got stopped again this time for the income verification ... nothing you did wrong and nothing you can do to more it along.

There is no pat answer for that question.  Sometimes the IRS will complete the review in less than 60 days and sometimes the IRS will take longer than 60 days.

 Ok ... the IRS is overworked and understaffed in the best of times ... now they  also have a pandemic and a stimulus package to deal with ... so will they answer the phone if you call ???  Mostly like not ...  Patience is needed as the IRS does the best job it can under very unusual circumstances.

I received 4464C letter March 23,2020 after I was verified. And it's over 60 days already. I don't hear or any letter from IRS, it's so hard to call IRS. I try it so many times. Untill now I don't receive my refund. When I check it. Where is my refund. It's say it's been process. What do I need to do. If there is anything mistake on my files do they correct it and still send my refund. Need help pls.

The IRS was closed for return processing for some time to focus on the economic stimulus payments. They have resumed normal operations and are now processing returns.
