I filed an amended OHIO return. I received a check for the amended turn amount. I also received a check for the original erroneus tax form

How do I return the check for the Original return? I received both a check for the original tax form AND the amended?

The IRS is very good at figuring it out.

• If you have to repay it, they will let you know.
• When you started the amended return it should rest your account to zero and post the change from there.  
• You can check your Online account for individuals to see the refund history.

It was an OHIO Amended return, not Federal IRS. Ohio has a very poor system for amended returns, must be submitted by postal service, so slow.
