I can not get a simple answer to a simple question. I filed my returns through Turbo Tax on Jan 3rd. Both my federal and AZ State returns still reflect pending. WHY?

Both your federal and state tax returns will be in a pending state until the IRS starts pulling tax returns from the TurboTax servers on or after January 27.  The state return cannot be pulled from the TurboTax servers until after the federal return has been accepted by the IRS.

You will receive emails from TurboTax when the federal and state returns have either been accepted or rejected by the IRS and your state.

Federal returns won't be processed until January 27th. AZ won't process your State return until you have an accepted Federal return.
