I am sure I didn’t file my renters CRP when I did my taxes for 2024 how do I amend this

To amend your state return, click here for instructions. 

Once you elect to amend your return, please follow the instructions below to enter your CRP for Minnesota. If you are referring to a different state, please comment in the thread below so we can assist you further.

1. Open your state return.
2. Continue until you get to the screen, Tell us about your living situation. Check the box that says, You rented a home in 2024 and received (or will receive) a CRP form your landlord. 
3. Continue through the pages.
4. On the page, Other Minnesota Credits, check the box that says Renter's Credit.
5. On the next page, Renter's Credit, click Yes if you qualify based on the qualifications on the screen.
6. Continue until you have to enter the information from your CRP.
7. Continue through the rest of your return.
