How long does it take to get a check from tpg

@Brieanab  and they would not deposit the check with a hold, waiting for it to clear? 

if you asked for cash, i could understand why they needed to verify it before handing you cash, but a deposit with a hold wouldn't require verification as you couldn't access the cash until the check cleared (normally 3-6 days)

look at the check itself, what bank is it drawn off of? Green Dot Bank?

@Bird41 how long did the process take after they sent it back to the IRS. In June they supposed to had sent mine back. But I called the other day and they told me it's under review pending to go back.

I've been waiting 6 months (since the end of February). I've posted about it all before.

Here's the latest:

My iBond was processed the beginning of June. I've been calling the last 2 months for an update, but after being placed on hold for so long, I've been disconnected every time. I finally got through to someone the other day. Since I never received the checks they claim to have sent, they agreed to send my funds back to the IRS. The most they could tell me was that funds are sent back at the end of every month. According to the person, the only option I have now is to wait until after the end of the month to call back to check if my funds were in the batch sent back. If not, then I have to wait until the end of next month to check again. And so on.

Once funds are returned to the IRS, it then takes the IRS 10 - 12 weeks to process the refunds.

I filed my taxes on Febuary 17th , my bank had been closed out 2 days prior to my "deposit " date. On March 10 they told me they sent a check to the address on file, of which was never seen or received by anyone including the mail delivery people.  They had me file a tax Amendity bond for them to release another check,  here it is ..."NOW " August 31st 2022 and I just received an email stating that my check will be mailed out within 5 business days , and than to give it another 7-10 business Days to recieve the check. I have been waiting all together about 4 entire months to receive this check and I'm getting extremely impatient and aggravated with it all. Plus they charge me another $30 dollars to get it. I am not happy with ANYTHING OR ANYONE I have had communicate with or deal with.

I literally got the same email today. Sent the indemnity bond in for the second time on Monday. So let’s see what games they play this time around. I must say last time they never an email or anything, so hopefully this time it’s for real.

THEY TOLD ME MY CHECK WAS MAILED OUT AUGUST 12,2022  it takes 15 business days to receive and today is Sept 4th I still haven’t gotten my check in the mail 

like how long before I receive it this is really frustrating I will never use turbo tax ever

@Brieanab  exactly wat day did you receive your check in the mail they said mines was mailed out on the 11th of august and it’s now September 5th I’m so irritated with these ppl and lies

I finally got one. But my bank said it was a fake and told me to throw it away. 

Now I'm waiting (again) for them to issue a replacement. 

This is the craziest stuff ever!!
