@Brieanab and they would not deposit the check with a hold, waiting for it to clear?
if you asked for cash, i could understand why they needed to verify it before handing you cash, but a deposit with a hold wouldn't require verification as you couldn't access the cash until the check cleared (normally 3-6 days)
look at the check itself, what bank is it drawn off of? Green Dot Bank?
