Sorry--it is long gone. TurboTax and the IRS save returns for seven years.
It's probably true, that the IRS may not be the place you can find it now. The best resource for you may be the Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS). They are in place to assist in situations where you are unable to obtain resolution on your own.
This will get the process started for you. It's not going to be a fast process because they are handling a large volume at this time.
Another possibility----and it is "iffy"--- is to try to get a W-2 from Social Security. I am not sure how far back SS saves them.
